the headpieces and flowers on them still look great!! however , every single elastic has bleed. So I'm changing the elastics.  They have all been washed twice :D and will look brand new soon

luckily one of the only things saved from my craft room are my glue guns :D

I now have a temporary studio and christened it with Tiger Rock!! It felt like a very normal day! And seeing all the kids just made me smile all day :) I'll be bringing stuff here this week to be able to do sessions.

today a beautiful beautiful walk way got created in my yard, I couldn't love it any more!! Its so pretty and will be lovely in pics!!

so yesterday while I was without a computer , I decided to paint some things for the new outdoor studio!

and I forgot to post pics of how its coming along the other day... so heres a few!

There's alot more to be done ... like a roof. Then once the roof is done it'll be decorated! ANNNNNDDDDDDD I've already decided to expand it! YAY! So here's some sneaks but I'm not gonna elaborate on each thing cause I want some things to be a surprise ha

 so today I got left unsupervised with a SAW and a nail gun!!

  so I built a wall in the outdoor studio! All by myself!! I'm still so excited about that!! Its really starting to take shape now!! I can't wait for my walls to go up! It's gonna be fabulous!!

the start

so since before I bought my house years ago... I dreamed of an outdoor studio!  WELL I'm finally getting it!! Here's the start ( about half the length it'll be!) I'm super pumped about it!
















so soon instead of junk and old doors being against the fence.... there's gonna be a designated spot for it!! whoop whoop with a roof and some walls!!

 There will be 5 or 6 sets in this , and then variations in each set!!

sooooooo I kinda have each on planned out in my head, and a scrap piece of paper! But If anyone has any ideas on sets I certainly would love to hear them!! Colors, themes, props, whatever! Just let me know :D

my mom has had this carosuel horse since I was little, and iI thought it'd be kinda awesome for pics! But it needed a lil updating lol

So I started painting it, then realized I could do 2 different sides!! I can't wait to use this in pics!

So as I started taking pics of the stuff, I realized it probably is only interesting to me hahah  Most of this stuff will be way cuter with babies so I only took a few pics and then the rest will be with babies later :D

so this stuff is layering for babies and to put in baskets and stuff. These will look way cuter with snuggly babies!!  And I made hats to match several of these
those wraps are to add to the dozens of other colors I have hahah

I also made a canopy, some other banners and still making stuff. and new baby baskets lol and stuff is still coming in :D 

so just because I didn't shoot any pics in may doesn't mean I wasn't doing pics stuff hahah

so on Saturdays I usually try to work in the yard some kinda way... and while I was doing the normal stuff. I looked at the truck and thought hmm I wonder how hard that would be to wash... so I tested a door

 

Easy peezy!!

 

but apparently that one test door was the easiest part of the whole truck!

 

when I came to the hood I quickly realized this was a dumb idea! ha

this thing probably hasn't been this clean or even washed in 20 years!! and now it looks like a brand new penny, or at least a 61 yr old penny! hah

I'm a lil excited about the clean truck , I guess it need to go in the chore list... the yearly one! lol

K ~ I finally feel a lil normal after that Isaac fiasco.
A week off can certainly put a lil damper on keeping up with things lol. I tried to do as much as possible before I evacuated to my mommy and daddy's lol. but ultimately a few things might be slightly delayed. So just be patient with me while I play a lil catch up :D 
I hope everyone weathered the storm good.

sooo my plan the week of Isaac was to rearrange my studio room. Of course since I didn't get electricity till the weekend I crammed it into 2days lol. So I basically turned the whole room into my closet lol so I can see everything.... and the reason I'm sharing is cause I get asked alot if things are mine... Well the answer is YES! cause I'm a  hoarder! lol Well there are prob a few things that you've seen in pics that aren't mine, but I have plenty plenty plenty of stuff for pics :D

so here's a few pics

left~  outfits, rompers, tutus, leg warmers, bloomers, cutesy frilly fluffy junk and like 2 boy things haha

and BELIEVE it or not, I have 43 more rompers coming in... yeah that was NOT a typo lol FORTY THREE. which is why I wanted to be able to see everything.

Right~ headpieces, prob like a gillion or so. I double dog dare you to find something I can't match! lol And I constantly get new ones.

This is kinda just everything else!

 

So this backdrop storage pics probably won't excite you BUT I added it, to show all the pettiskirts at the top and newborn hats on the right.

 

 

AND finally this is what it looks like a day and a half later, after 4 newborns lol. a hot mess! lol Which is kinda how it'll always look cause I pull out so much stuff for sessions. lol

 

Is it fair for me to blame this on innocent lil sleeping babies? heheh

so on to other things.... like the rest of the year...

I can dress kiddos :D and this will be stunning for Christmas cards.

Peacock Dreams will be best for ages 6mo and up. If you're kiddo is under 6mo, as long as she can do tummy time  really good then she'll be fine :D

November LSU schedule is jammed packed so these will be on home gameday weekends, ugh! But The good thing is you don't HAVE to bring the hubs! lol Both these weekends will be the ONLY weekends I will have these set up.

OTHER...

after Santa... that's it for pics for the year unless your child has a umbilical cord! lol That gives me time to get everyone's Christmas Cards done and to them to send out in ample time. The ONLY thing I shoot in December is newborns. So if your child's 6mo, 9mo or bday pics fall into that time, we need to do them prior or after. :D

Newborns...

This is my public service announcement lol

I always feel like if I wasn't a photographer and was a brand new mommy I would have NO idea when to do pics, so this is me trying to spread the word! hahah

I love to have newborns before they are 2 weeks old. They are still fresh and squishy and poseable and sleepy. So in order for me to get you into to that time frame I need to know about the baby as soon as possible :D I have been telling everyone to call me before they leave the hospital.
Oh course if you know prior that you'll be induced we can set it up before :D If you call me when your baby is already 2 weeks old, then that gives me no time to get them in, and If I don't have anything for 2weeks then the baby is creeping out of the age range to get the good squishy pics. I always try to squeeze in a newborn, but sometimes I just can't. So please please please call me as soon as they are born. Time flies, so whether you want me or another photographer to take your newborn pics, please do it when they are teeny tiny, cause you'll never ever get that time back. :D

I stayed up till about 3am last night working on the studio and then also worked on it today!! It's fabulous! I'm so excited cause I made a spot for everything... and then moved all my backdrops to one wall!! So that'll be alot easier YAY!!

Whoooo I can walk around in there now! lol Lets see how long it'll last heheh

Also I got so FABULOUS things for Tiger Rock!! I'm excited! I have a few people to call back, but I have some spots left... If you would like one please call me @ 939-2062 :D

Today I got a big box of fluff!! I'm soooo excited about it!! And it's multi purposeful... like for RAINBOW JUNK, Candy Shoppe , Vintage Lemonade , etc etc etc.

The great news is... I still have 2 more shipments of fluff to come! YAY

Some of the new stuff and things I have gotten will be for some of the other Specials too.



Yesterday I got 2 huge boxes and a lil one of stuff for Candy Shoppe!! *big smile
But it's not candy! hehehe Well the lil box is, but it's not for Candy Shoppe.

It's getting pretty fun around here!!



And at the end of last week I got TWELVE new backdrops in! I just started using them , so you'll start seeing pics soon :D

With all that and spring in the air, my yard blooming, it's just very fun and happy for me! :D
